Perusing knowledge led him to the top of his class with dreams of changing the world, but instead wound up with a soul-crushing job with a mega-corporation. Once there, Finn worked as an electrical engineer specializing in wireless communications systems. Finn always kept his head down to avoid unwanted attention, but that never worked and was always being pulled in on whatever new project needed his expertise. As a result, Finn was constantly overworked. With no time for a social life, Finn’s only friend is Rufus, a co-worker in another department. Nara of the Voyagers of ArrowsDaughter to a woman of ill repute, and an unknown father, Nara’s fate was to continue the downward fall of her family from nobility that began after the great shift in political power in Nodshdan some 30 years before her birth. Despite an all but assured dreadful future, Nara was able break free and not follow in her mother’s footsteps like her sisters when her magical abilities began to manifest themselves at a young age. Shortly thereafter, Nara was entrusted to the care of Raezinus at the age of 13, and began training as a mage under his tutelage at age 16. KurorakiThe youngest of his family of scavengers (a more polite term for thief) from the island nation of Utaiesto in the West. He spent his childhood rummaging through the ruins of the numerous town destroyed in the war with Nodshadan, looking for anything of value to sustain his family through the famine that followed the war. During one of his many scavenges thru the burnt out shells of homes, he discovered Carmine Mage of Rasrak’s enchanted armor. Having no way to carry the armor home, Kuroraki opted to wear it for the long walk home. Unbeknownst to him, someone had reforged the armor to fit a more average stature and damaged the enchantment, cursing it. The enchantment prevented harm to the armor and the wearer. The malfunction of this enchantment that would repair the armor instead fused the armor together and sealed him in. Kuroraki had spent six years searching for the Carmine Mage of Rasrak, and now that he’s found him, and he can not help, Kuroraki is unsure what to do. Age: 25 First Appearance – Page 24, Chapter 1 |

RaezinusRaezinus is a dragonblood, born of a human mother and a dragon father. After his turbulent childhood, he immigrated to Rasrak to persue knowledge, but wound up conscripted into the army. After years of service, Raezinus’ conscription was bought out by a nobleman of Rasrak in exchange for something Raezinus would rather not discuss.
In the 120 years since, Raezinus has made his home in a secluded region in the south of Dephban. In his quest to learn all that can be, he collected a library and an assortment of oddities surpassed by none. During that time, he has trained a steady stream of young mages. In exchange for the training, the young mages are required to run errands for Raezinus as it became less acceptable for him to be seen in the community. Age: Somewhere around 300, but he won’t say. Raych of the Crimson GoldDaughter to one of the major merchants of Rasrak, Raych has been training as a mage under the guidance of Raezinus for the past two years. During that time, Raych has progressed to a 4th stratum mage, surpassing Nara’s skill level, leading to much tension between the two. Raych is always fond of having the best of the best, and after two years in seclusion and training in a ‘backwater hole’ is desperate to leave and forge her own path. Is 300 old for a dragonblood?
300 is not terribly old, they can live to be 600-700, but old age rarely takes them, as they would rather have a good time adventuring and taking risks!
