Death isn’t so bad. It’s going to happen eventually, and if he really doesn’t like being in that armour and/or dying repeatedly, it makes perfect sense to die a final time.

What would be really scary is if he ages normally, and as his body starts failing, the armour keeps bringing him back to life, only so he can die soon after, and spend the rest of an eternity in some kind of half-alive suffering.

… Just WHY does he want to die so badly? I can understand wanting to get out of a piece of armor, boy has it GOT to stink, and itch by now, but really, death?

The dragonkin is right. The rage, while understandable, is both foolish and misdirected. The dragonkin has no obligation to help the person to took armor stolen from him and modified without his knowledge or consent. And now, you’ve assaulted his guest to the point where his guest is no longer co-operative in revealing a whole new world of wonders, literally.

Hmm… there are probably more risky magic that can be done. Like destroy enchantment or transform or something more extreme. Or call in favors or do a side quest.

They can do tons of stuff limited by contacts, ethics, creativity, intelligence, and/or skill.
