Tome One Cover - Coloring Timelapse video

This is probably one of the more complex coloring projects I’ve done to date. Each one of the characters were done as a separate group of layers so I could fine-tune the layout of the cover later and reuse the art for banner ads and other stuff.

Chapter #2 Cover – Coloring Time Lapse

This is a time-lapse screen recording of my coloring process, done in Photoshop with more layers than I really should be using. Five hours of work set to the song “Fortunate 1mark (A-4 Mix)” by Omodaka.

Inking the ‘Deverish Japan’ Illustration

Another time-lapse video, this time showing the inking procedure I use in MangaStudio. The screen recorder hiccuped white I was inking Raezinus, so you don’t get to see that, unfortunately. Set to another song by Omodaka, “Cantata No. 147 (Video Mix)”.
